Belmont, NC

Belmont is located in Gaston county directly west of Charlotte.  The town lies along the Southfork River and Lake Wylie where some of the most beautiful homes are on the shores.  Belmont has recently had a large jump in growth, bringing in many commercial and residential developments. 

When you walk through downtown, several restaurants, coffee shops and boutiques are tucked away in the charming brick lined walkways.  Belmont is home to Belmont Abbey College, Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens, and is just across the river from the US National Whitewater Center.
